Preschool Co-Teacher

Job description:

Teachers should be licensed by EEC, with a “Lead Teacher” or “Teacher” certification. BA or Associate preferred. English fluency is required. Basic computer skills, such as email, are important.

A background check and a writing sample are required.

All candidates must be documented as healthy to work with children and must be able to move freely in the classroom, including sitting on the floor. You must be able to lift a 30 pound child.

Our curriculum is play-based, emotionally-sensitive, and inspired by progressive early childhood education theory. Knowledge in these areas is essential. Teachers are members of the union. *Pay scale is based upon EEC licensure and level of education.

Job Type: Full-time

Shift times: 7:45 - 3:45 and 8:30 - 4:30 Monday to Friday

Pay: $19.79 - $21.84 per hour

Floater Teacher

Job description:

Floater teachers should be eligible for or certified by EEC, as a “Lead Teacher” or “Teacher” or "Assistant Teacher." A Floater Teacher spends time in different classrooms, subbing for teachers when they are absent or need to leave the classroom for a meeting or lunch break.

Students of early childhood who need to complete their classroom requirements (hours) are welcome to apply.

A background check and a writing sample are required. English fluency is required.
